Our latest magazine Canine Colorado: German Shepherds! is complete. The final tally was 20 gorgeous German Shepherds raising over $12,000 for Front Range German Shepherd Rescue!

With Mother’s Day just behind us, I’d like to reflect on being a pet mom. Never having had children myself, I’ve been so grateful for the companionship and love of my pets that include my dogs and my backyard flock of chickens & ducks. Not only do they give us so much, but they provide the chance for us to live out our nurturing instincts and see the world from their simpler, innocent perspective.

Our Canine Colorado fundraiser magazine is continuing to engage Colorado pet families and raise funds for local rescues. In our 3rd year already, we are working on a new issue featuring the noble German Shepherd!

Another great year of portraits as we embarked on several exciting projects including two Canine Colorado Magazine fundraisers and our first 40 Over 40 Pet Mom campaign. With the goal of completing our magazine design in time for online fundraising sales for the holidays, we launched our latest Canine Colorado: Dachshunds! issue on Thanksgiving weekend. The final tally was 20 amazing Doxies with a fundraising total of $3925.

Great news! The launch of Canine Colorado fundraiser magazine in 2021 was a big success! The premier magazine: Corgis! raised over $5,000 in funds for local corgi causes. -kudos to everyone who helped make that happen! I quickly followed up that success story up with another amazing magazine in early 2022 featuring all Old English Sheepdogs. That project is still raising funds with magazine sales in progress, already generating over $4,000 for OES Rescue of Colorado.

2021 started with a purr and ended with a roar! Coming out of 2020 not knowing what would be possible, the year started quietly with mostly dancer & musician portraits (visit ArianeCecile.com). I also saw families coming in for generational portraits -commemorating family has been more precious than ever. By the summer, I was looking to launch a new fundraising idea for local pet rescues and I finally had the time and resources to make it happen.

I’d been thinking of this idea for a while, so what better time than 2021 to launch a whole new fundraiser campaign? As shelters and rescues work harder than ever to meet the needs of families and canines in our beloved Colorado, I wanted to showcase them in a new way & raise significant funds for their efforts.

2020 will be a year to remember for so many reasons. It was challenging for everyone, but we are grateful that our family stayed healthy and safe.

For a little over a year now, I have offered the option for my clients to have my photography enhanced as Digital Paintings.

Well another great year of portraits is nearing completion. Wow! the time flew by and it’s so nice to sit back and rewind a bit. Each year more sweet faces and creative challenges.

I finally put the clips to music and created this brief video so that clients can see a portrait session in action. That’s not to say they all go like this one, but clients and their furbabies are set up to succeed, the best way possible.

I've been offering canvas art since the very beginning. As a portrait photographer, specializing in timeless portraits of pets & their family members, I really wanted to find the "best of the best" in the canvas medium. Last year I started working with a family business that creates their cotton canvases from scratch. They use a 50+ year tradition of museum quality canvas-making (not inkjet printing).
