Portrait Studio – Editor & Studio Assistant
We are seeking a talented and creative Intern to join our dynamic team at DelaFoto. This part-time internship is ideal for someone with advanced Photoshop skills and a strong interest in studio photography. The role combines portrait editing responsibilities with in-studio support, giving you well-rounded experience in the full photography workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
Editing Duties:
Edit and retouch pet and family portraits to the highest standards using Adobe Photoshop.
Incorporate AI-enhanced editing workflows to streamline and elevate the post-production process.
Ensure consistent color correction, exposure, retouching, and overall image quality.
Use online proofing systems and file transfer tools (Google Drive) while following DelaFoto’s editing guidelines.
Offer creative input to improve and refine the final product.
Studio Support Duties:
Assist the photographer during photo sessions (primarily on Saturday mornings) with tasks such as setup, handling props, helping direct pets or families, and maintaining a clean and organized studio.
Welcome and interact with clients and their pets to help them feel comfortable during sessions.
Help organize and prepare the studio space before and after sessions.
Participate in behind-the-scenes operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Photoshop.
Experience using AI-driven editing tools (e.g., AI masking, AI retouching).
A strong eye for detail and consistency.
Comfortable working with pets and families in a professional setting.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Available Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturday mornings for studio & editing work.
Ability to work remotely for editing and in-person for studio sessions.
Friendly, positive attitude and team spirit!
Preferred Skills:
Experience editing pet and family portraits.
Familiarity with batch editing and automated workflows.
Knowledge of preparing files for print and different media formats.
Basic photography or lighting knowledge a plus.
Strong communication skills and a love for collaboration.
