The role combines portrait editing responsibilities with in-studio support, giving you well-rounded experience in the full photography workflow.

If you have a passion for transforming photo files into captivating works of art and enjoy working closely with pets, families, and a professional photographer—we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Editing Duties:

  • Edit and retouch pet and family portraits to the highest standards using Adobe Photoshop.

  • Incorporate AI-enhanced editing workflows to streamline and elevate the post-production process.

  • Ensure consistent color correction, exposure, retouching, and overall image quality.

  • Use online proofing systems and file transfer tools (Google Drive) while following DelaFoto’s editing guidelines.

  • Offer creative input to improve and refine the final product.

Studio Support Duties:

  • Assist the photographer during photo sessions (primarily on Saturday mornings) with tasks such as setup, handling props, helping direct pets or families, and maintaining a clean and organized studio.

  • Welcome and interact with clients and their pets to help them feel comfortable during sessions.

  • Help organize and prepare the studio space before and after sessions.

  • Participate in behind-the-scenes operations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Photoshop.

  • Experience using AI-driven editing tools (e.g., AI masking, AI retouching).

  • A strong eye for detail and consistency.

  • Comfortable working with pets and families in a professional setting.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Available Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturday mornings for studio & editing work.

  • Ability to work remotely for editing and in-person for studio sessions.

  • Friendly, positive attitude and team spirit!

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience editing pet and family portraits.

  • Familiarity with batch editing and automated workflows.

  • Knowledge of preparing files for print and different media formats.

  • Basic photography or lighting knowledge a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and a love for collaboration.

Benefits:

  • Flexible part-time schedule.

  • Opportunity to work remotely and in our creative Denver studio.

  • Mentorship and professional development from an experienced portrait photographer.

  • Be a valued part of a team creating meaningful art for pet-loving families.

  • Compensation based on experience.

If you're a creative, detail-oriented individual who thrives in both digital editing and in-person studio settings—and you have a passion for pets—we’d love to meet you!
